Contents Using Content-Aware and warp Puppet

One of my favorite exercises in my new book employs (count em?) Two new cool features in Photoshop CS5: Content-Aware Content and Puppet Warp. Using them together, you can copy an image from the background elements into a new layer, fill in the background, and then distorting the original subject in any way you like. Here? Sa quick play-by-play of the tutorial, which you find? Will be explained in detail and help illustration, from my new book Adobe Photoshop CS5 One-on-One.
1. Direct selection into new layer. Reload selection on the background layer so Content-Aware Contents know where to do the magic. Let Photoshop take a crack at filling in the background. ? Here's how the new feature works: Click on the Background layer in the Layers panel to make it active. Photoshop assess the pixels around it and make a pretty good guess about how to fill the selection.
6. (Especially if you know what to look for, the outline of the elements deleted pictures clear enough.) In order to improve their story-telling shadow using the healing brush (which you learned in previous exercises in this book.)
7. Convert layer Puppet Jumps into smart objects. Select Puppet Warp command. From the Edit menu, select Puppet Warp to get into that mode. Pins allow you to control an object stretches Puppet Warp. Puppet Warp works by allowing you to stretch (or squish) the distance between two pins. Apply Warp Puppet effect. Move the pin around to stretch our puppet jumped into cartoon characters.
12. Implementing Puppet Warp almost more fun to type than with people. Recall the command Puppet Warp and distort the individual letters. You can see my pin set to ignore the other letters in the text layer. Finally, my foot repositioning the subject better suited to text me:? Just choose Edit> Puppet Warp to go back to the mode and modify your distortion.
Voila, both the subject and the appropriate text, if ridiculously, stretches using Puppet magic warp and filling the background comfort Content Content Aware.
