You can color the black-and-white photos, remove red-eye, or deform?. It's super easy to change the color photographs in black and white picture with only one colored object in it. In the photo at left below, waterlily leaves dying looks fine but annoying, so it might look better just by interest in color. Just select one of the settings for the Brush Black & White Smart and then drag it on top of a lily. Elements do a pretty good job in finding the edge of the flower and make it black and white, leaving the rest of the pictures in color. But if you activate the checkbox Inverse before you drag, lily remain dark and the rest of your images to black and white, save a lot of work. You can also use recompose to squish out the elements that are not desirable in the middle of your photo, such as in this ocean view.
